About the Role
Martian Code is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading, long-standing engineering consultancy that plays a pivotal role in Australias infrastructure landscape. With over four decades of industry experience and expansion goals that include growth into new markets like defense, our client is seeking a talented and versatile Bid Proposal & Marketing Collateral Coordinator to elevate their business development efforts and digital presence.
This is a hybrid position based in Sydneys CBD (3 days onsite: Mon, Tues, Thurs), working closely with the Head of Infrastructure and collaborating across technical, project, and executive teams.
What Youll Do
In this dual-impact role, youll own both the bid coordination function and the creation of marketing collateral that supports the firm’s brand and growth strategy.
Bids & Proposals
Manage and coordinate inputs for 56 bids/month across agencies like Transport NSW, Sydney Water, and Melbourne Water
Draft and edit compelling bid documents, EOIs, and tender responses
Maintain and evolve the bid library and document templates
Identify and flag relevant government bid opportunities
Marketing & Collateral
Manage and grow the companys LinkedIn presence (company)
Create and update content for the company website
Design marketing assets including blogs, newsletters, and case studies
Uphold brand consistency across all public-facing material
Youll Bring
10+ years experience in consulting, engineering, or infrastructure-focused environments
A background in bids, proposals, marketing, or communications
Strong writing, coordination, and visual storytelling skills
Proficiency with tools like MS Word, InDesign, Canva, LinkedIn, and CMS platforms
Familiarity with tender portals (TenderLink, EstimateOne) and CRM systems
Soft skills: persistent, persuasive, highly organized, and detail-obsessed
